Welcome to Clare Outdoor Club!

Clare Outdoor Club is a Mountaineering, Hillwalking and Climbing club based in Ennis, Co. Clare. A member of the Mountaineering Council of Ireland, its members are regularly active both home and abroad.

Hillwalking, Rock climbing, Canoeing and Caving are the order of the day and many fine outings ensue, due to our location here in the Mid-West of Ireland. We are able to strike out to a wide range of locations on our day trips, from Connemara to Kerry, over to the Galtees and the Comeraghs, taking in mountains, rivers and caves.

Lots of good experience has been built up with some people going on to do 'Leadership' courses in their preferred disciplines, using this skill and knowledge to benefit all members.

There are now over 100 members in our club and we extend a warm welcome to all of our new members.
