Notes

Road Cycling and Water-Sports are NOT covered by the club insurance policy. Members are advised to arrange alternative insurance cover for these activities.

At least one walk leader will be in Quinn’s from 9.30 pm –10 pm on Thursday before walk.
Leader marked * responsible for bringing First Aid Kits X 2 and KISU x 2 on walk and ensuring
sign in sheet is completed by all walkers.

Please notify a leader by Friday night before the walk and leave a contact number.
Walks may be cancelled or relocated depending on weather conditions, however only those walkers who have notified a leader of their intention to travel will be contacted!!
Meeting time for all walks is 7.45 a.m. in the car park at rear of Roslevan Stores on Tulla Road. There will be additional pick-ups for people travelling from Limerick in Boher for Galtees walks and at the Dunraven Arms in Adare for Kerry walks.
Please notify a leader on the morning of a walk of any medical condition you have that they should be aware of.

Equipment Advice

Minimum gear required - You must have all of the essential items listed below to participate in a club walk.

Hiking boots with ankle support.
Waterproof jacket and trousers.
Walking trousers/tracksuit pants.
Hat/gloves.
Fleece/warm jersey.
Basic personal first aid kit.
Headtorch / Double Survival bag.
Food/water.
Rucksack (preferably lined).
Change of clothes and towel to be left in car.

Absolutely no runners or jeans on walks. Anyone wearing unsuitable clothing or footwear will be turned back!

Dryflo Synthetic T shirts are better than cotton.
